Based in the heart of the New Forest National Park in Hampshire, the Rhinefield House Hotel is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful forest and surrounding areas.
Having spent two nights there in July 2018, we very much enjoyed our stay and had some beautiful walks from the hotel.
Our Classic bedroom was comfortable, modern and well-equipped with air conditioning, a small fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, free wifi, large flat screen TV, and a nice seating area for two.
We had dinner on one night in the Alhambra Room which was a wonderful experience. Inspired by the Alhambra Palace in Spain, the intimate room was designed as a Christmas gift from Mabel Walker-Munro to her husband. Now used as one of the dining rooms at Rhinefield House, it offers a unique dining experience surrounded by stunning tiles and glass.
Breakfast was taken in the 3rd dining room at the front of the house and also in the main Armada restaurant, both of which were really nice with crisp white tablecloths and period features in both rooms.
The outdoor heated pool was good and a perfect temperature, although smaller and a little more tired than it looked in the hotel photos! We did not have time to use the indoor spa area but on first appearance it looked good, albeit a little small again.
